February Monthly Newsletter

Does anyone know where January went? We can’t believe it’s already the second month of the year! But, you know what that means… A new monthly newsletter to catch you up on the latest around Taylor Made School of Austin.

What’s New With Taylor Made?

We’re extremely excited to announce that our Fitzhugh Road location will open officially in March! Additionally, we’ll be holding an open house for everyone to come and get to know each other and the Taylor Made staff. Keep your calendars open in March – the date will be announced soon!

Taylor Made School Address: 13317 Fitzhugh Road Austin, TX 78736

Interested in touring one of our locations? Contact us to reserve your spot for tours beginning this weekend! We can’t wait for all of our Taylor Made families to finally see us in action!

Keep up with us on social media and stay tuned for an updated website in the coming days. We’re working hard to make some big and exciting changes!

Spotlight: Sponsor of the Month

Our newest sponsor, Jamba Juice, is in the spotlight this month! We’re incredibly grateful for this sponsorship and we’re looking forward to what the future holds.

Stay tuned for a fundraiser that we’ll be holding with Jamba Juice coming up in March!

Don’t Forget About Camp!

Taylor Made Day Camp is still going until Summer camp begins! If interested, you can register online. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding either camps!

Applications for Day Camp and Summer Camp cost $100 and we do require a $250 fee for supplies. While both fees are non-refundable, they are also one time costs. Don’t let the cost get in your way. There are partial and full scholarships available for our camps if you’re interested!

Taylor Made is even giving away ONE FREE WEEK of camp to a lucky kiddo!

Taylor Made Talks

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for February’s Taylor Made Talks event! Taylor Made Talks is our newest program that is devoted to offering emotional and social support to youth who need to cope in order to thrive.

February 27th from 10:30am to noon, join us at Mozart’s Coffee for our meet-and-greet, fundraiser, and ‘Question and Answer’ segment! You’ll get to hear from everyone leading the way over here at Taylor Made School of Austin while enjoying delicious coffee and treats!

RSVP on Facebook!

Need An Internship?

If you or someone you know is looking for a summer internship, Taylor Made School of Austin is looking to hire one lucky intern! Whether you’re looking to broaden your education, dip your toes into the Montessori method, or want to get to know Taylor Made a little better – we want to hear from you!

If interested, please send your resume to taylormadeschool@aol.com.

Stay Tuned on the Blog!

In February, we’ll be covering a bunch of different topics on our blog!

We’ll talk about ideal classroom sizes, materials, and how mixed-age classrooms can build your child’s character. But, that’s not all – do you want to read about whether Montessori is worth the money or not? How about, comparing the educational philosophies of Montessori and Waldorf?

You’ll be able to find it all here on the Taylor Made blog – coming soon!

Leaving you With Food for Thought

We hope you enjoy a day full of love, surrounded by your loved ones, this Valentine’s Day. If you haven’t made plans yet, consider those remembering their loved ones who they’re unable to be with on this special holiday. You may want to donate your time to those who would otherwise be alone, or consider a monetary donation to someone in need – $5 may not be much to you, but it’s a lot to someone else!

Have a great weekend, everyone!
